We’re proud to share that Arrow has been recognized by BC Hydro as a 2025 Clean Energy Champion!

This award celebrates Arrow’s commitment to decarbonizing industrial operations through innovation, strategic electrification, and demand-side energy management.

Key projects that contributed to this recognition include:

River City Fibre (Kamloops): Electrification of the chipper system and installation of an electric conveyor for transporting chips

Payload Optimizer (Vancouver): Technology to reduce trips and emissions by maximizing payload efficiency and reducing the need for using a front end loader

Telestacker Implementation (Fort St. James): Transitioning diesel material handling to electric

Demand-Side Management across Arrow operations: LED lighting retrofits, power factor correction, and compressed air optimization to reduce peak load and improve energy efficiency

Each of these projects reflects Arrow’s approach to sustainability — practical, performance-based, and deeply integrated with operational goals.

Arrow’s Director of Sustainability, Jacob Adams, proudly accepted the Clean Energy Champion Award on May 13th at River City Fibre in Kamloops, BC, a fitting location given the leadership and impact of our Indigenous joint venture, River City Fibre, in the clean energy transition.
