A Message from our Executive Team

The Covid-19 crisis is without question one of the greatest challenges, if not the greatest challenge that many of us have seen in our lifetimes. It is, however, not the case for Arrow as a company. This is an organization that has seen more than its share of adversity since we were founded in 1919, and our people have always risen to the occasion.  We are financially strong, highly diversified, partnered with the strongest customers, suppliers, workforce and stakeholders and well positioned to come out of Covid-19 stronger than ever.

To Our Employees
Firstly, we want to thank our workforce who have been determined to stay on the job, despite the risks, to ensure that the essential services we provide continue as consistently as possible.  We have an outstanding team of people working every day to keep our organization on top of this situation and to help ensure that our employees and stakeholders are safe and that our customers are well served. They are working hard to deliver safe operating practices, human resource strategies, operating plans, logistics, support, financial planning, and most importantly product movement and operating support on a daily and continuous basis. We all need to pay close attention to the instructions we are given and diligently follow these instructions and to help our support team in any way we can whenever possible.

To Our Customers
Arrow provides a critical service transporting goods and providing services that are essential to the national interest of our country. Today we continue to operate in most locations and have plans in place to sustain those operations for as long as possible and as long as our customers need us. We will do this safely and efficiently. It is also likely that there will be some interruptions to our business, but we are planning for them and will be prepared when circumstances change.

In Summary
People are judged in how they behave in times of crisis, and this is an opportunity as individuals, as a company, as a community, and as a country to show each other and the world our best side. Be kind to each other, be understanding, help others where you can and be an important part of getting us all through this difficult time.

Are any of your businesses closed?

Since the government has deemed transportation an essential service and the industries we support essential, we are fortunate to have all the majority of our businesses operational.

What procedures have you implemented to keep your employees safe?

Each location has implemented detailed and specific strategies to keep everyone safe, virus free and on the job.   Some of these strategies include: increased sanitation procedures in offices, shops and trucks, proper social distancing between employees, work at home solutions when possible, mandatory isolation when government guidelines require it, and mandating employees to stay home when feeling ill. There are many other initiatives that are updated daily and communicated to branches and their employees on a consistent basis.

We will continue to monitor and stay abreast of this situation and adhere to all government advisories. The health and safety of our employees and communities are of the utmost importance to us all.
